There are two things that humans need to live: air and water. We have two Republicans running for office who have decided to do away with the EPA. Why are they running on this idea? Well, corporations, remember, are people, according to the Supreme Court and Romney. They are giving these candidates money to run for office and this will pay for their advertisements. They claim that it costs them money to comply with the restrictions that the EPA has put upon them, such as furnaces putting out bad air that settles in people's lungs so they can't breath, water that is undrinkable, water that is polluted, air that is polluted. Also, pollution does away with the cover that protects the earth so that the sun can then shine directly on us. More melting of the ice bergs, more dying of humans and animals. Curious. Who is going to buy their products?
Asthma has become a problem with children, newborns and seniors. And, now I hear that our representatives have joined to do away with the EPA. We would think that these candidates would remember how pollution gets so bad in Salt Lake that people can't see. And, then we have the joys of receiving pollution from mines in Nevada, which has settled in the water so that fishing is for enjoyment only, since the fish can not be eaten. Have these people been taking stupid pills? Maybe they need to spend more time in Utah, especially when we have to start purifying water before it can be used.
