A couple of new outdoors shows have hit the airwaves.
"Hooked on Utah" recently premiered on KUTV, hosted by Gary Winterton and Karen Miller Coleman.
Coleman is the daughter of the state's legendary Mr. Outdoors, Doug Miller, and brings a unique legacy to the show, which airs Saturday nights at 1:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, Cross Canyon Arms' "CSE Outdoors" will be broadcast Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. on KJZZ. Cross Canyon Arms is based in West Haven.
Mustangs new kids on sports block
As the Ogden Mustangs prepare to play their first WSHL hockey season, the young Junior A team is also looking to make a positive impact in the community.
The Mustangs host the team Southern Oregon Spartans at 7:30 p.m. tonight at The Ice Sheet in their first exhibition game.
The squad will donate all ticket proceeds to a pair of local teams: WSU's men's club team and the Hill Air Force Base hockey team.
Tickets for the game are $2 at the door.
Moment in time captured by Pac-12
As part of 9/11 memorial festivities nationwide, University of Utah and USC football players will showcase a special game ball for today's game at the Coliseum in Los Angeles.
Ex-Utes Jamal Anderson and Luther Elliss will take part in the pre-game ceremony. The ball will be signed by all of the Pac-12 coaches and donated to the 9/11 Memorial.
