AMERICAN FORK -- Authorities are investigating an attack on a gay man in American Fork.
Police say a man was emptying trash outside a hair salon Thursday morning when he says he was attacked and beaten by several people yelling gay slurs.
The 32-year-old man's nose was broken and he suffered multiple minor injuries. Authorities have not yet labeled it a hate crime.
Meanwhile, police in Salt Lake City are investigating attacks on two other gay men last month.
Those two separate attacks occurred on Aug. 26 outside a downtown Salt Lake City club.
