U.S. bobsledder's family loses home in NJ

LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- The U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation has created the Jazmine Fenlator Family-Hurricane Irene Relief Fund to assist her family in starting over.

The Fenlator family home in Wayne, N.J. was destroyed by flood waters from the storm, and Fenlator, a driver on the women's bobsled team, hasn't been able to get back to her hometown to help her family recover.

Online donations are being accepted for the Fenlator family.

Fenlator, who made her World Cup debut last December at Mount Van Hoevenberg, was among more than 30 federation athletes who volunteered over the weekend to aid in Tropical Storm Irene recovery efforts in Keene, N.Y., just south of Lake Placid in the Adirondack Mountains.
