The Standard Examiner Editorial Department needs to have a training session on addicitions, specifically the addiction of pornography. Pornography is a problem! What they call a "racy" billboard can be a trigger for someone already addicted to pornography, or may help start the addiction. Quoting CEO of Deseret Managment Corporation Mark H. Willes, pornography "is not a victimless act." It can destroy family relationships, lead to sex crimes, and lead to loss of employment. My brother and his family recently visited from Oregon, a state that is known for its liberal views. He and his wife were shocked by how many billboards they saw just driving from Ogden to Provo that advertised lingerie or physical "enhancements." A lingerie store is one thing, but a billboard that is many times larger than life showing a woman barely dressed in a seductive pose is simply not good for a heathy community.
