Woman arrested after driving over another woman's foot

CLEARFIELD — A 47-year-old woman is facing felony charges after running over the foot of another woman.

Robbin Christine Searle of Clearfield was booked in the Davis County Jail on Wednesday on one count of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and one count of driving on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

Clearfield police arrested Searle within minutes of her running over the foot of the manager of Aspen Park Apartments at 200 W. 1700 South, said Assistant Clearfield Police Chief Mike Stenquist.

The manager, a 40-year-old woman, had called police at 8 p.m. after noticing Searle possibly doing some type of drug activity in the parking lot, Stenquist said. The manager confronted Searle, saying she had called police.

Searle then drove toward the manager, going over the woman’s foot, and injuring it.

“It was very swollen,” Stenquist said.
