Church to host open-mic concert

OGDEN -- The Congregational United Church of Christ, 3350 Harrison Blvd., is hosting an open-mic concert from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Music, poetry and other appropriate entertainment are encouraged and welcomed.

Performers may sign up starting at 3 p.m. for 10-minute performance slots. If all times are not full after one round, performers are welcome to take another turn.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for local food banks.

Those who attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Call the church office at 801-392-5012 for more information.
