(UNEDITED) I would like to take time to clarify some of the comments made in this article. I appreciate Tim Gurrister for taking the time to do the article and bring awareness of my efforts to light. I do need to rebut some of the things that were not correctly stated in the article. First of all, there were people who did love me in my family. Many of whom I didn't realize or accept love from. I don't want people to believe I blame my family for the wrong choices I made in life. I take full responsibility for my actions.
Secondly, all of the fathers of my children were NOT gang members. I have never made that statement. I'd also like to clarify that although my mother was an alcoholic, she did recover from her disease after the birth of my first child, 25 years ago. She has been an inspiration to many people in our family. I wish I had followed her example earlier in life. I have an exceptional relationship with my mother and am very proud of the person she became. I apologize again to anyone who was upset by this article, especially my family and two younger sons fathers. (Paul & Anthony) I did not write the article, but I do feel an obligation to bring clarity to it.
