SALT LAKE CITY -- Police say a Salt Lake City man is facing attempted kidnapping charges after three children fought him off by biting and throwing rocks.
According to court documents filed Tuesday, a 10-year-old girl was walking with her sister and cousin in Magna, Utah, on Aug. 22 when Miguel Angel Jaime asked if she wanted some candy.
The court records say the girl declined and 33-year-old Jaime then grabbed her from behind.
The Deseret News (http://bit.ly/oOgCqw ) reports the girl screamed and bit Jaime on the arm while her younger sister and cousin threw rocks at him until he ran away.
Police state in the records that the 10-year-old was able to describe Jaime's tattoos and identify him in a police lineup. It was unknown if Jaime had an attorney.
