As of late, many on the right have accused the president of not having a clue as how to get the economy and country back on track. Well, my answer to them is this. There's no one in this or any other country regardless of skin color or party affiliation that could do that without the full support and co-operation from both side of the aisle. Also by his being impeded by those that will put party over country in order to regain control of government is not only wrong, but subversive to the government, the country and its citizens. At the start of this century our country was left with billions of dollars in surplus and the country on the right track. In the next 8 years, we were attacked for the first time within our borders, we became involved in two wars, 2.4 million manufacturing jobs were allowed to be outsourced creating the unemployment mess we're confronted with today, and the same individuals who help create all of this are the same one's who are impeding the efforts of the present administration from correcting this chaotic mess. So not until we all pull together to get the country out of the ditch its in today, it will remain there and we will not progress forward without the borrowing of money from China and other countries. Those Bush tax cuts to the rich which are suppose to be job creators have not created too many jobs, otherwise, why is there so much unemployment? This can only imply that during the Clinton/Gore administration, something must have been working, so why not stop the bickering between who's right and who's wrong and go back to those thrilling days of yester-year and apply those same policies that worked and had the country on the right track? We need to remember what made us great in the first place, was that we stood together and not apart, and if we don't stand together again, we shall surely fall apart. Republican, democrat and independents, we're all americans, and if we don't stop dividing ourselves, the stars and stripes won't wave like it has before and our American eagle won't fly as high and with the same pride that it has in the past.
