Low-interest home repair loans offered

OGDEN -- The Weber Housing Authority has received a $50,000 Community Development Block Grant to provide low-interest loans to home owners for emergency home repairs.

Eligible repairs include furnace replacement, central air replacement, plumbing repairs, water and sewer line replacements, electrical hazards, accessibility issues and roof repairs/replacements. Homes must be in Weber County but outside of Ogden.

The loan term will be no more than five years and the interest rate will be fixed at 3 percent. Applicants must meet income requirements.
