Donations needed for coat outreach

OGDEN -- Organizers of the fourth annual Coat Outreach are currently accepting items for the event on Nov. 12.

The event gives out winter wear, hot cocoa and chili to area needy at the Ogden Rescue Mission.

Items can be dropped off Monday through Thursday at Canyon Road Assembly of God, 1390 Canyon Road, in Ogden.

Along with men's and women's coats, organizers ask for hats, gloves and socks to give out.

Donations of chili, crackers, hot cocoa, bowls, cups, spoons or money to purchase additional items are also requested.

For more information, call Canyon Road Assembly of God at 801-621-2187 or Ogden Rescue Mission at 801-392-9156.
