CENTERVILLE -- A Davis County church is sponsoring a free forum on dealing with the challenges of an Alzheimer's diagnosis.
The forum will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 1131 S. Main St.
Educators Kathryn and Leonard Romney will speak about Kathryn's early-stage Alzheimer's diagnosis and provide help to others facing similar challenges, officials say.
The couple will discuss how patients and their care-partners can embrace life following diagnosis, and what others can do to slow and/or prevent the onset of this affliction.
The event is first in a series of "Community Matters!" forums sponsored by the church.
