James Elliott DeJarnatt, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 following a brief bout with colon cancer. A private gathering for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011, at Rudd Funeral Home, 1234 S.  Main St., Garland. Condolences may be offered at ruddfuneralhome.com
