SALT LAKE CITY -- Authorities say a loaded gun has been confiscated at Salt Lake City International Airport and a man has been arrested.
Transportation Security Administration officials say authorities found the loaded .380 caliber pistol Tuesday in a man's carry-on luggage at a security checkpoint.
The passenger, who was headed to Atlanta, was arrested. Authorities did not immediately release the man's name.
TSA says that since January 2011, its officers nationwide have found more than 800 firearms in carry-on bags.
