'Breaking Bad' wraps up season, Oprah is back

Best bets

* The fourth season of "Breaking Bad" ends in the only way it could have: With Walt and Jesse (Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul) squaring off against Gus (Giancarlo Esposito). 8 p.m. today, AMC.

* No longer the leading lady on "House," Lisa Edelstein visits "The Good Wife" to start a multi-episode arc. She plays a hot lawyer who has a past with Will (Josh Charles). 8 p.m. today, KUTV Channel 2.

* You knew the Kennedy references would surface soon on the 1960s-era drama "Pan Am." In tonight's episode, the crew flies to Berlin with reporters covering a JFK speech. Maggie (Christina Ricci), a big supporter of the president, is determined to meet him. 9:01 p.m. today, KTVX Channel 4.

* Oprah Winfrey's back. The former queen of daytime TV takes on a night-time gig with "Oprah's Lifeclass." It's a series that has her looking back over key episodes of her iconic talk show and procuring inspirational moments and lessons from them. 6 p.m. Monday, OWN.

* Laura Dern takes on the challenge of series television in the new dramedy, "Enlightened." She plays a corporate executive who suffers a very public meltdown and, after a stint at a mental-health retreat, tries to pick up the pieces of her life. 10:30 p.m. Monday, HBO.

* Mike Epps returns to host the sixth annual "BET Hip Hop Awards" from Atlanta. Lil Wayne tops the nomination list with a record-breaking 18. Immediately following is the premiere of the new sitcom, "Reed Between the Lines." 9 p.m. Tuesday, BET.

* Tim Allen returns to prime time in the new sitcom, "Last Man Standing." He stars as a sporting goods exec who bemoans the lack of manly men in the world. Meanwhile, we bemoan the lack of laughs in this show. 7 p.m. Tuesday, KTVX Channel 4.

* Apparently it's not enough that "America's Next Top Model" has the Kardashian sisters -- Kim, Kourtney and Khloe -- along for the ride tonight. Also appearing is LaToya Jackson, who supervises a photo shoot in which the contestants pose as her late brother. 8 p.m. Wednesday, The CW.

* The force apparently is still with "Psych" as it enters its sixth season. In the opener, Shawn (James Roday) stumbles upon a dead body during a case that has him working to recover a stolen "Star Wars" collectible. 11 p.m. Wednesday, USA.

* There's animosity brewing on "The Big Bang Theory" when Sheldon and Leonard (Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki) are invited to a party thrown by Sheldon's nemesis, Wil Wheaton ("Star Trek: The Next Generation"). Brent Spiner also guest stars. 7 p.m. Thursday, KUTV Channel 2.

* On "Fringe," poor Walter (John Noble) is forced to leave the lab for the first time in years when he accompanies Olivia (Anna Torv) to New York for a case connected to his past experiments with the drug Cortexiphan. We sense a huge panic attack coming on. 8 p.m. Friday, KSTU Channel 13.

* Don't let the title fool you. "Puppies vs. Babies" is not a vicious cage match. It's a compilation of Internet clips featuring infants and pets that are judged on the cuteness factor. 8 p.m. Saturday, Animal Planet.
