America First offers piggy banks to food donors

Riverdale — America First Credit Union has added another incentive to donate to its seventh annual food drive. Donors of $10 in food or cash will receive one of the popular Penny and Buck piggy banks.

“The Penny and Buck piggy banks are very popular, and our members have been requesting them when they visit our branches,” said John Lund, executive vice president of America First.

“There are so many in our communities who are in need, and if giving these fun characters away will provide added motivation for people to donate, then we can support the food banks even more.”

The public and America First members are encouraged to donate at any branch throughout Utah and in Nevada through Oct. 22.

The Utah Food Bank will receive the donations Oct. 27 at the AFCU campus in Riverdale.

For more information about the America First Credit Union food drive, call Nicole Cypers at 801-827-8655 or Ginette Bott at 801-887-1281.
