Everywhere I go it lately it seems there are long lines and everyone is waiting for some overworked, overburdened lone employee trying to run the whole store to help them. I waited in line at a dollar store for 17 minutes to be rung up for my items and the cashier was answering the phone and cleaning while also trying to clean up.
A packaging store had a line all the way out the door with one lady behind the counter trying her best to help everyone. The grocery store has this problem as well, and the gas station, too. The employers around here are taking advantage of their employees and we customers know it. Blaming it on the poor economy won't work forever. If you want to continue to enjoy our business you better hire some more people.
