(UNEDITED)If you listen to the GOP debates, which I have, you'll notice that the GOP's 'job plan' boils down to letting polluters pollute more and raising taxes on the poor. De-regulation of corporations led to the great recession we are now in, but how easily people forget the recent past. All of the major GOP candidates agree that less oversight means more jobs and a better economy. What they don't mention is that deregulation means more mercury in our water, more plane accidents and air that's more polluted.
Hermain Cain believes that taxing the poor and lowering taxes for the rich will produce an economic boon. Are people really responding to the call of 'kill illegal immigrants with predator drones' or 'women aren't smart enough to control their own bodies? ' Yes, sadly, and this is what the GOP stands for. While the GOP rants and raves, Obama is pushing for jobs, jobs and jobs through investment in education and transportation. The choice couldn't be more clear: vote Obama in 2012.
