MOAB -- The family of a renowned 37-year-old Canadian skydiver missing since late June says his body has been found in southern Utah.
Family members of David Roy Brown say Wednesday the body was discovered Sunday by a hiker near Moab.
Brown was last seen walking into his trailer June 29. His driver's license, Canadian passport, credit cards, clothing and cash were left behind at his home.
Brown's sister, Wendi TeKamp, thanked Moab police and volunteers for their help in the search.
Family members say Brown was a national champion and world record-holding skydiver with his skydiving team. Teammates, family members and paragliders conducted a volunteer search for two weeks after he was reported missing, but found no clues.
