Intermountain Specialized Abuse Treatment Center provides specialized services to children and families affected by abuse with the focused goal of helping the healing process begin and preventing future victimization. Layton Victim Services provides assistance in understanding the criminal justice system, identifying helpful community resources, making a claim for restitution, filing a protective order and accompanying victims to court hearings. Pioneer Adult Rehabilitation Center provides a safe environment of employment and training for persons with disabilities. Project Linus provides security through blankets to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of a sense of warmth and comfort. Safe Harbor Crisis Center, Davis County's only domestic violence shelter, is in need of volunteers in the following areas; in-shelter, community crisis response, and protective order court. Utah Museum of Natural History at University of Utah is looking for people to volunteer as Museum Gallery Interpreters and Discovery Cart Volunteers.
