GARDEN CITY -- The Rich County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about vandalism that occurred during the first weekend of the deer hunt and damaged a pickup truck beyond repair.
The incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 23. The vehicle, a light gold Ford F-250 4x4, 4-door, belongs to an out-of-county hunter. It was parked on a hillside in an undeveloped subdivision named Elk Ridge, immediately west of the Bear Hollow Apartments, 350 W. 300 North. This area overlooks all of Garden City and Bear Lake.
Damage to the body of the truck was estimated at $13,000.
