Small earthquake rumbles in Emery County

SALT LAKE CITY -- No damage or injuries were reported after a small earthquake rumbled about 6 miles northwest of the Utah town of Orangeville.

University of Utah Seismograph Stations in Salt Lake City recorded the 4.1-magnitude temblor just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Emery County.

Salt Lake Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/vrtL1T ) that Emery County sheriff's employees felt the quake about 8 miles from the epicenter in Castle Dale, and several people called about it.

Others reported feeling the rumbling in Price, about 30 miles northeast of Orangeville.
