OGDEN -- Two cases against Dea Millerberg of North Ogden scheduled for Wednesday morning were postponed until Nov. 30.
Millerberg was due to be arraigned in 2nd District Court on a new charge of child endangerment based on hair-follicle testing on two of her children under age 8. The testing found evidence of drug exposure, but no affidavits were filed with the charges to specify which child and drug were involved. Millerberg also was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on other prescription drug charges; that also was postponed.
Millerberg and her husband, Eric, are considered suspects in the disappearance of 16-year-old Alexis Rasmussen, who baby-sat for the couple on the night she was last seen. Rasmussen's body was found in October in Morgan and Millerbergs' attorney told the news media he expects charges to be filed against the couple relative to her death.
