SALT LAKE CITY -- The father of missing Utah mom Susan Powell says his two grandsons have been doing well living with him in Washington since a judge granted him temporary custody in September.
Chuck Cox says in new court documents that the boys are seeing a therapist. They've also been attending birthday parties, carving pumpkins, and playing with cousins since they arrived in Puyallup.
A custody hearing for the 4- and 6-year-old boys is set for May.
Susan Powell vanished in December 2009 at age 28. Her husband Josh Powell has been named a person of interest in the case, but denies involvement in his wife's disappearance.
The boys were living with their father and grandfather, Steve Powell, before Steve Powell was arrested on voyeurism and child pornography charges.
