Council researching limits on businesses

FARR WEST — Changes to city ordinances that will restrict the types of facilities allowed in the city are going to attorney David Church for a second legal opinion before being brought before the city council, according to Planning Commissioner Lou Best.

Best also said the planning commission has been working on a fee schedule table.

Councilwoman Ava Painter said she had heard some cities restrict the number of tattoo parlors and pawn shops based on the population of the city and asked if Farr West might do the same.
