Leaky roof plagues city hall interior

PLAIN CITY — Problems with a leaking roof have damaged several areas in City Hall, according to Councilman Brett Ferrin.

Ferrin said the city has contracted for the damage and painting repair within the building but is still looking for a roofing contractor.

He said whether the roof needs to be repaired or replaced is still to be decided.

The council approved repairs for the inside of the building for a bid of $3,710. Ferrin said the whole Community/Senior Center room will be painted, and damage will be repaired in the reception area.
