Protestors should blame lawmakers and president

(UNEDITED) The protesters at the Occupy Wall street, Ogden, Salt Lake, etc have been out doing the camping, marching, disrupting traffic etc. for 2 months now. What do they feel they have accomplished?

I have a question to all the protesters. How many of you have voted in the past elections? How many have become involved in the political process to see if they could change the people who are actually causing the problem.

I hear the protesters say all this corporate greed and the banks are to blame. Don't they realize the banks were required by Congress to make unsound loans to people who had no way to pay back the loans for homes? When the banks started to fail, it was Congress who said we need to bail them out.

Congress, the Senate, and the president are where their anger should be vented.

Until the young people of this nation get involved, learn about candidates and hold candidates accountable for what they say they will do or what they do, the country will continue to go downhill. My generation has been sending the same people back to Washington term after term, hoping the promises they give us will materialize. We don't hold them accountable for anything either.

At least we are the 30% who will go vote. For those who don't vote, you have to accept who I vote for.
