Stew Morrill's Aggies are tackling adversity.
Utah State (2-1) will travel to Corpus Christi, Texas to play at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi tonight. They'll do so without senior big man Brady Jardine, who was injured Saturday in the Aggies' 65-62 win over Southern Utah.
USU is led by senior guard Brockeith Pane who is averaging 15.3 points, 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game, and is shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 33.3 percent from 3-point range and 91.7 percent at the free throw line. Senior forward Morgan Grim is averaging 11.7 points and 5.3 rebounds, and is shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 75.0 percent at the free throw line.
And sophomore redshirt guard Preston Medlin is averaging 11.0 points.
Jardine is not out for the season, but the injury is serious enough he might be gone for a significant portion of USU's pre-conference play.
