PLAIN CITY — Volunteers are needed for Founders Day. Those who are interested can call 801-731-4908, said Councilwoman LaFray Kelley.
She also said that, with help from a RAMP grant, the city has purchased a slightly used 20-foot-by-20-foot tent for the Harvest Arts Festival.
RAMP funds come from a tax approved by Weber County voters in 2004 that allows the county to impose a local sales tax of one-tenth of 1 percent to improve recreation, arts, museums and parks.
