SPRINGVILLE -- Police suspect suicide in the case of a 39-year-old Springville man killed last week after falling from an overpass and into traffic.
Springville Public Safety spokesman David Caron tells the Salt Lake Tribune (http://bit.ly/sgKQVD ) that police have interviewed a friend of the man, who says the man was depressed after losing his job.
Authorities say the man either fell or jumped from a Springville overpass about 9:40 p.m. Friday. He landed in southbound traffic on State Route 51 and was struck by a vehicle.
The man died of his injuries at the road. The driver of the vehicle was not charged.
