The Pleasant View stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host its annual community Christmas creche display Dec. 1-3.
The event is free and open to the public. It features more than 1,200 creches from around the world, ranging from the size of a grain of rice to a full-size person, adorned by more than 10,000 lights and 500 live poinsettias. The central attraction this year is a cross-stitched representation of Christ created by the late Gladys Seethaler, of Pleasant View.
The display is open from noon to 8 p.m. each day at Pleasant View Stake Center, 2975 N. 1000 West. Live music will be performed from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
