The city's Redevelopment Agency has granted a one year extension of a loan to Druyon Law. The board voted unanimously at a recent meeting to extend a loan to the company until October, 2012.
Druyon originally received a business enhancement loan for $40,000 in September of 2004 to remodel and upgrade a building at Colonial Square, which was drawn down in two equal payments of $20,000. He originally asked for an extension of the loan in October of 2009 and renewed that request recently.
One of the conditions of extending the loan is that Druyon bring the loan current and keep it current. He owes $13,902 on the RDA loan, according to Aric Jensen, director of planning and economic development.
