Most have power again in Ogden area

OGDEN -- Most of the people who were left in the dark by the wind storm Thursday have power again.

By 9 p.m. Saturday, Rocky Mountain Power crews had restored power to all but about 400 customers, said spokesman Jeff Hymas.

Almost all of the customers are in the Ogden area, though there may be a small number in other areas who are still affected, he said.

Thursday's, high winds knocked out power to 25,000 customers in the immediate Ogden area. Some customers are likely to still be without power today, Hymas said. But crews, some called from out of state, will continue to work until all power is restored, he said.
