Vets can get VA info in Clearfield, Ogden

A service officer from the Veterans of Foreign Wars service office in Salt Lake City will be at the Clearfield Department of Workforce Services Employment Center, 1290 E 1450 South, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The service officer will be at the George E. Wahlen Ogden Veterans Home, 1102 N. 1200 West, from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

The service officer is there to help veterans understand and apply for VA benefits: compensation, pension, hospitalization, education and other benefits.

The service is free to all veterans.

Bring the following documents: DD form 214, marriage/divorce papers, birth/adoption/death certificates and children's Social Security numbers.
