Help raise food for the homeless at health fair

OGDEN — The community is invited to help United Whole Health raise food for the homeless by coming to a health fair from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Dancing Lotus, 893 24th St.

In exchange for five nonperishable food items, visitors are invited to the fair to receive services from local holistic health professionals including: Reiki, Chakra balancing, vibrational therapy, alchemical breathwork, light therapy, Law of Attraction life coaching and spirit-minded music. There will be art, gifts and more.

Food donations will be distributed to the St. Anne’s Center in Ogden for the holidays.

Founding churches in the effort include St. Joseph Catholic Church, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Elim Lutheran Church. Participating churches are Ascension Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church, United First Methodist Church and Washington Heights Church. Supporting churches are Alpine Community Church and Wasatch Evangelical Free Church.
