High school plans concert, art show

OGDEN -- Ben Lomond High School, 1080 9th St., will host a student art show from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday to coincide with its school concert. The art show will be in the commons area of the school.

Showcased items will include ceramics, jewelry, fine art and filmmaking.

The free concert begins at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Davis libraries boosting technology, resources for users
Research continues to show that many adolescents have poor eating habits and decreased physical activity. To help, the Davis County Health Department is offering two free workshop series called BodyWorks to help parents and caregivers teach youngsters how to eat right and exercise, habits that will last a lifetime, says Dr. Jonelle Rowe, senior medical adviser for adolescent women’s health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
