LouJean Shaw Stanger of North Ogden celebrated her 80th birthday with a family luncheon at the Maddox Ranch House Restaurant on Dec. 10.
She was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Ogden to Wilford and Lucille Shaw. She attended North Ogden School, then Weber High School, graduating May 1950.
She married Robert D. Minard in April 1951. They divorced in 1961. In 1962, she married Charles Raymond Roberts in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple. They lived in North Ogden. After a year, he adopted her three children. A year later, their children were sealed to them in Logan LDS Temple. He died Sept. 14, 1980.
In 1984, she married Irvin O. Stanger. They were married for 14 years. He died March 1998.
She worked at Defense Depot Ogden and retired in 1989 after 30 years. She has been active in the LDS Church and held many positions.
Her children and spouses are Bruce and Beverly Roberts, Craig Roberts, and Steve and Ann Brunetti. She has 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren from her own children.
Ray Roberts' children and spouses are David and JoAnn (deceased) Roberts, Hubert and Leah Rae Rawson, and Mark Steven and Kay (deceased) Roberts with 18 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Irvin Stanger's children and spouses are Bill and Pat Sevy, Scott and Margene Stanger, Randy and LeAnn Stanger, Mark Stanger, Marlin and Wendy (deceased) Kerbs, and Teresa Edwards with 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
