CENTERVILLE -- The city council gave its approval to vacate three easements in exchange for four so the Land Rover dealership can expand.
The planning commission gave its final site plan approval for the expansion of the Land Rover Dealership, 155 S. Frontage Road, in October.
The city engineer determined that the three easements recorded for storm drain detention, culinary waterline and public utility needed to be vacated. These were originally accepted in 1998 when the original Land Rover site plan was approved.
Now, with an amended plan, things have to change.
Four new easements for a storm drain detention pond, waterline, public utility and sidewalk needed to be instituted and recorded with Davis County to issue an occupancy permit.
This was approved at a recent city council meeting.
