Drivers should watch for icy roads

There are icy road conditions throughout the Top of Utah.

Safety officials are asking motorists to drive carefully, moving slower to prevent crashes.

Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson warns drivers to reduce speed and increase following distance while driving.

If a driver is in an accident and can still drive their car, they should move off to nearest off ramp and call 911.

There have already been numerous minor traffic accidents in Weber and Davis County.
