CLEARFIELD -- The city council has approved allowing utility poles to be placed on city property so Rocky Mountain can upgrade its service.
Rocky Mountain Power is upgrading the service for its power substation, 610 S. 1000 West. To do this, the company needs to put poles on city property east and north of the substation. A property appraisal showed fair market value of $13,500.
The council approved the easement on the property at a recent city council meeting.
