Woman accused of swapping cigarettes for drug

LOGAN -- A 28-year-old woman is facing felony charges for allegedly swapping cigarettes for the stimulant medication Adderall with two juveniles in Logan.

KSL-TV reports Sunny Morrisette was charged Friday in 1st District Court with seven third-degree felony counts of possession or use of a controlled substance and 10 class B misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to the probable cause statement, the woman was "under a lot of stress" and had wanted to try the prescription drug after hearing some "good things" about it.

She's accused of trading a brother and sister in her neighborhood their Adderall for her cigarettes at least 10 times in October.

Adderall is a drug used to control symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD.
