Dea Millerberg to be in court today

Dec 20 2011 - 11:52pm

OGDEN -- Dea Millerberg, 38, will make an appearance in 2nd District Court today on drug charges.

Police believe Millerberg and her husband, Eric Millerberg, were the last two people to see Alexis Rasmussen, 16, alive in September, when the North Ogden teen disappeared. The girl's body turned up a month later in Morgan County.

After investigating the couple, police arrested them on unrelated drug charges.

Last month, Dea Millerberg was also charged with causing or permitting a child to be exposed to a controlled substance, a third-degree felony, also unrelated to Rasmussen. She has pleaded not guilty to the charge and is scheduled for a pretrial conference at 9 a.m. to address the case.

She has been out of Weber County Jail on $15,000 bail, paid by her stepfather, Gregory John Noble, since Dec. 6, according to the court records.
