FARMINGTON — City officials have approved the application for a class B beer license for a business that will be part of the city’s newest development.
The council unanimously voted Tuesday to approve a beer license application for Parkstone Wood Kitchen & Bar, which will allow the business to serve alcohol in its soon-to-be-opened restaurant in Station Park.
The state has to give final approval for the restaurant is at the south end of Station Park near a theater complex.
In approving the application, Mayor Scott Harbertson wondered aloud how a business with “bar” in its name would go over in what he describes as a conservative Davis County and “doubly conservative” city.
