OGDEN -- Police are investigating how an 18-year-old man got shot in the leg early Saturday morning.
Police Lt. Shawn Hamblin said police were called to McKay-Dee Hospital at 7:25 a.m. about a shooting.
The 18-year-old said he had been shot once in the lower right calf while walking near 1100 E. 32nd St. at 7 a.m.
The victim told police the shot came from a vehicle with several occupants that drove past him.
The man walked back to a friend's home on 32nd Street and the friend drove him to the hospital, Hamblin said.
The injuries were not life threatening, Hamblin said, and the victim was treated and released.
