Landlords promised details on program

ROY -- Landlords can expect to receive more information at the beginning of January on how to get registered under the city's new Good Landlord program.

The planning and community and economic development departments will be sending out the information with the business renewal applications the first part of January. The city isn't teaching the Good Landlord course, but the class is offered a few times a year by an outside group. Those dates and information will be posted in the information.

Many landlords are inquiring with the city about the process, and the city will have information for landlords. Mayor Joe Ritchie will also address the program in the January newsletter.
