Some travel websites to surf

A few cool travel websites:

www.drive-alive.co.uk/fuel_prices_europe.html

Before you plan a driving trip in Europe, get a feel for how much fuel will cost. This site posts regular updates on prices for gasoline and diesel in European countries and the United Kingdom.

www.cruisetimetables.com

Check which ports are visited by which ships, and on what dates. You can search by port of call or departure port. If you really want to stop at a certain spot, this tells you which cruise fits the bill.

www.delta.com/mobile

The latest Fly Delta mobile app for this Delta Air Lines site lets you pay for and track your baggage in real time. It's a new feature on iPhone and Android (and soon to come on Blackberry and Windows phones). If you have an iPhone, you can even scan the bag tag with your phone.

www.ricksteves.com/rail

Good information about the tricks and tips of taking trains in Europe. Use this website and www.raileurope.com and you'll know all about European train travel.

www.flightcaster.com

It predicts whether your flight will be on time. Start using it six hours ahead of your flight, and it will give you the chances of an on-time departure. It uses current weather, airport congestion and route data to calculate the probabilities.
