2 injured trying to jump snowmobiles across creek

LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Authorities say two men were injured while trying to jump snowmobiles across a creek in southern Michigan. 

WWMT-TV reports (http://bit.ly/roZSYi ) the crash happened Monday in Calhoun County's Lee Township, about 55 miles southeast of Grand Rapids.

Authorities say two 18-year-old men were driving in a field and crashed when they tried to cross the creek, which had high banks.

The men were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
