Elsie B. Fuhriman

Elsie B. Fuhriman of Ogden will celebrate her 95 birthday with family and friends at Chuck-A-Rama in Ogden.

She was born Jan. 3, 1917, in Providence to Elsa and Ernest Beckert.

She married Keith Fuhriman on July 29, 1936, in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple. He died Sept. 12, 1975.

She is active in the LDS Church and is a homemaker. Her interests include working in her yard, reading and volunteering for the Association for the Blind. She is also currently bowling on three leagues a week, where she enjoys being around her friends.

Her children and their spouses are Jared and Darlene Fuhriman, Idaho Falls, Idaho; Dana and Wayne Austin, Clinton; Marla and Tim Swartz, Salida, Colo.; Lorrie and Scott Blanch, Ogden; and Kim Fuhriman, Ogden.

She has 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
