Amy Schmidt and Jake Gary Tolman were married Nov. 26 in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. James and Susan Schmidt.
Parents of the groom are Marie and Gary Tolman.She is a graduate of the University of Utah's School of Education, where she received bachelor's and master's degrees. She teaches special education preschool for the Davis School District. She enjoys traveling, soccer and brownies.
The bridegroom served an LDS mission to Berlin, Germany. He is a graduate of Weber State University's Schools of Business Administration and Foreign Language. He is a framing and finish carpenter with Gary Tolman Construction. He enjoys music, arm-chair audio engineering and randomly taking things apart.
Both are graduates of the Institute of Religion of their schools.
